Yossi Harari to create exclusive jewellery collection using Shefa Yamim's gemstones
World renowned jewellery designer to celebrities and stars to produce 18 unique, handcrafted individual pieces of jewellery using Shefa Yamim gemstones
Shefa Yamim (LSE: SEFA), a precious stone exploration company in Northern Israel, is delighted to announce that it has signed a Letter of Intent with Yossi Harari, the world renowned jewellery designer, to initially create a unique 18-piece of fine jewellery using gemstones found in Shefa Yamim's Kishon Mid-Reach Zone 1 deposit.
Yossi Harari, known for his timeless handcrafted collections, will create themed jewellery pieces reflecting Israel's special heritage. He will select precious stones from Shefa Yamim's 'Gem Box' and is expected to lay the stones within his trademark 24 carat gold settings.
Yossi Harari is a multiple winner of the Couture Design Award, the 'Oscars' of the jewellery industry, and attributes the success of his 26 year old business to a 'Love of Art'. Mr. Harari's jewellery has been worn by some of the world's biggest celebrities including Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, Oprah Winfrey, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson and many more. His jewellery features in over 40 stores worldwide, including prestigious retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Harvey Nichols London.
Yossi Harari said: "My jewellery is a contrast between the old and the new. Although I am inspired by archaeological jewels of the past, I have a modern, bold interpretation of classic designs. I design for the sophisticated woman - the woman on the go, who wants to be comfortable yet glamorous, fashionable yet possessing her own sense of style. It is my dream to find gemstones with a story behind them and create jewellery that will, therefore, have its own magical legacy, and none can be more special than gemstones discovered because of a prophecy of the Lubavitch Rabbi. I can't wait to create this new collection inspired by the rich history and heritage of Israel and Shefa Yamim's extraordinary gemstones."
Avi Taub, CEO of Shefa Yamim, commented: "We are extremely fortunate to have the first jewellery collection from our stones created by Yossi Harari. This is a momentous occasion in building up our mine to market strategy and we cannot wait to see what this award winning top designer of the jewellery world creates for us now and in the future."

About Yossi Harari
Born in Israel, and raised there in addition to Switzerland and Turkey, Yossi Harari, the grandson of an art and antiques collector grew up surrounded by beautiful, worldly objects and ancient artefacts that delighted his senses. Influenced by his grandfather's vast collections, Yossi developed his passion for jewellery design at an early age. When he was eleven years old, Yossi redesigned a diamond ring for his mother and it was this artistic endeavour that set him on a course of creativity and design from which he has never strayed.
Yossi went on to receive formal training and degrees in Gemology and Jewellery Design from The Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles and in History of Arts from Tel Aviv University in Israel. In 1992, Yossi launched his namesake brand when he opened his atelier in Istanbul, where his designs are still developed and produced. Not only working in pure 24K gold, and his own trademarked metal alloy, 'gilver', which is a combination of sterling silver and 24K gold, but also using the finest stones available, each Yossi Harari piece is meticulously hand-crafted implementing gold-smith techniques that are centuries old.
Just like the Mediterranean archaeological jewellery that inspires Yossi, each piece is made by hand; every single clasp, bead, chain, and bezel is handcrafted without the use of moulds or castings. This human-touch instils the feel and look of antiquity inherent in Yossi jewellery. These time-honoured techniques ensure that no two pieces are ever exactly alike and makes wearing Yossi jewellery an entirely individual experience.
Yossi Harari has been recognized for his excellence in design when he was honored with the Couture Award in 2007, 2009 and 2014. Today his collection is celebrated at esteemed retailers nationwide including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Stanley Korshak, Mitchells, Wilkes Bashford and Marissa Collections. Furthermore, Yossi has developed a cult-following of celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna, Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba to name a few.

About Shefa Yamim (A.T.M.)
Shefa Yamim is a multi-commodity precious stone exploration and prospecting Company in Northern Israel. It has two flagship projects, Mount Carmel (volcanic primary bedrock sources of gemstone and industrial minerals) and the Kishon Mid Reach (secondary alluvial placer deposits hosting the gemstone and industrial minerals derived from primary bodies).
After 18 years of exploration in a "greenfields" terrain, Shefa Yamim established a "Source to Sink" geological model and the presence of a Target Mineral Assemblage ("TMA") in both primary volcanic sources and in secondary alluvial deposits lying within the Kishon catchment, on Mount Carmel and in the Ramot Menashe area.
The TMA comprises gemstones and industrial minerals. The gemstones collectively make up the "Gem Box" suite, comprised of diamond (rare and small macro-diamond to microdiamond sizes), natural moissanite (that is rare globally), sapphire, ruby, Carmel Sapphire™ (a new sapphire type found, to date, only in northern Israel), hibonite (another rare gem), garnet, ilmenite and spinel. The heavy industrial minerals constitute the "HIM" suite hosting zircon (which may be gem grade at larger sizes) and rutile.
