London, UK, 17 April 2019, Shield Therapeutics plc (LSE:STX), a commercial stage pharmaceutical company with a focus on addressing iron deficiency with or without anaemia via its lead product Feraccru®, announces that James Karis, Chairman of the Company, has acquired 46,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company on 15 April 2019 for consideration of £0.815 per Ordinary Share and 4,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company on 16 April 2019 for consideration of £0.81 per Ordinary Share. Following the transaction, Mr Karis holds 86,667 shares, representing 0.001% of the Company's issued share capital.
