Board Appointment

The Board of Shires Income is pleased to announce the appointment of Marian Glen as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 January 2013. 

Marian Glen is a member of the Audit Committee of the Water Industry Commission for Scotland, the economic regulator of the water industry in Scotland. She was formerly the General Counsel of AEGON UK and prior to that was a corporate partner and Head of Funds and Financial Services at Shepherd+ Wedderburn (Solicitors). She retired as a non-executive director of Murray Income Trust PLC in October 2012 at its AGM, having been on the board for nine years.

Ms Glen currently has no beneficial interests in the shares of the Company.

There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules.
