Appointment of Non-Executive Director and Chair of Remuneration Committee

SIG plc  ("SIG", "the Group" or "the Company") , a leading supplier of specialist  building solutions to  trade customers across Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kath Durrant as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 1 January 2021.  Kath will replace Kate Allum who will be stepping down as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 31 December 2020.

Kath is currently Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Calisen plc, a Non-Executive Director at Vesuvius plc (and will become Chair of the Remuneration Committee from its 2021 AGM) and is an adviser to InnovationRCA. She previously served as a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of Renishaw plc from 2015 to 2018.

Kath has more than 30 years' Human Resources experience, with a strong operational and strategic track record, gained at a number of large global industrial and pharmaceutical companies.  As well as working at GlaxoSmithKline plc and AstraZeneca plc she served as the Group Human Resources Director at Rolls-Royce plc and Ferguson plc and until 2019 was Chief HR Officer at CRH plc.

There are no further details to be disclosed for Kath Durrant in respect of Listing Rule 9.6.13.
