SIG PLC announces that on 3 April 2008, David Williams, Chief Executive, has
sold 30,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each at a price of 872.04 pence per
share. The sale was done for family tax planning reasons in advance of David
Williams retirement on 30 June 2008.
Subsequent to the sale above David Williams interest in the Company is 73,349
shares representing 0.0543% of the total voting rights.
