Director Shareholding

SIG plc announces that two Executive Directors exercised options under the SIG 
plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme and sold shares principally to utilise 
their Capital Gains Tax Allowance as follows:-

David Williams exercised on 20 October 2004 an option for 13831 shares at l22p 
per share and sold 4200 shares at 499p per share. His beneficial holding is now 
74396 shares.

Michael John Chivers exercised on 20 October 2004 on option for 13831 shares at 
l22p per share and sold 5570 shares at 499p per share. His beneficial holding is 
now 41,038 in shares.
