Messaging International Plc ('the Company')
Expands Partnership with leading US Mobile Operator Sprint/Nextel
Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded provider of innovative messaging
services, has expanded its relationship with Sprint/Nextel, a leading tier one
USA mobile operator (NYSE: S), through the launch of its proprietary Text to
Landline solution to the Nextel network
http://www.nextel.com/en/services/messaging/text_landline.shtml.
Earlier this year Sprint/Nextel launched the same service to its Sprint CDMA
network customers

The service, now available to over 50 million mobile phone subscribers on both
the Sprint and Nextel networks, enables both Sprint and Nextel customers to send
text messages, which are converted to automated voice messages and delivered to
any landline phone in the USA and Canada. The recipient can then send a voice
or selected text message reply, which the original sender can retrieve through a
text message alert. Customers on both networks pay standard text messaging rates
when using the service.
Horacio Furman, Chairman Messaging International Plc, commented: 'We continue
to have good success selling the Text to Landline application in the USA. This
marks the second launch this year and we have several more planned in the coming
months.'
