BIRD funding update
Messaging International Plc, the AIM traded company and provider of converged messaging products and services announces that, following a long process carried out with an operator partner, the Company informed the BIRD Foundation that it will not pursue the "Secure RCS Messaging" project as announced on 22 July 2014. As announced, the conditional grant funding of $900k, out of which TeleMessage could have received 70%, was for R&D of a secure RCS Messaging solution. The project was planned to begin in 2014 until late 2015. The Company has adjusted its expenses to partially overcome this change of plan.
