Jan Erik Back has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer and
Executive Vice President of SEB. He will also become a member of the
Group Executive Committee (GEC).
Jan Erik Back, 46, is currently First Senior Executive Vice President
of Vattenfall, and as Chief Financial Officer, he is Head of Group
Finance. He has previously been, among other things, Chief Financial
Officer of Skandia.

Jan Erik Back will take up his new position at SEB after the summer,
succeeding Per-Arne Blomquist, who, as informed earlier, is leaving
SEB for the position as Chief Financial Officer of Telia Sonera.
