Peter Branner new Head of SEB Investment Manage...

SEB has recruited Peter Branner as new Head of SEB Investment Management. Branner will continue to develop the SEB mutual funds offering and build on the bank's leading position within alternative investments. Fredrik Boheman, head of Wealth Management at SEB, says: "The asset management business faces great opportunities and challenges, and I am very glad that Peter, with his long international experience from our industry, will lead the fund management development within SEB.". Peter Branner joins from Fortis in London where he held a position as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to that he was CIO/Managing Director at IKANO Fund Management in Luxembourg, having previously held other positions within the IKANO Group in the Netherlands, Denmark and the UK. During the currency crisis in the early 90s, Peter Branner was head of Trading at GiroBank in Copenhagen, where he began his career in 1987.
