Delay to the publication of the Half-Yearly Report and Unaudited Financial Statements
The Company announces that the publication of its half-yearly financial report and unaudited financial statements for the period ended 31 December 2019 (the "HY 2019 Accounts") will be delayed. The Company announced yesterday, 31 March 2020, the outcome of the Independent Review of the valuation of six AD plants, and incorporating the outcome of this review into the HY 2019 Accounts has taken time, particularly given the fact that the Investment Managers and most of the staff of service providers to the Company, including the auditors, have implemented their business continuity plans to minimise the risks of Covid-19 to their staff. In addition, the Covid-19 situation has naturally led to the team at the Investment Managers engaging with portfolio companies in order to assess the initial impact of the virus on the Company's investments, in part to satisfy the expectation of additional disclosures in relation to Covid-19 in the HY 2019 Accounts.
The Board, the Investment Managers, the relevant service providers, together with the Company's auditors are in the process of concluding their half-year review. The Company expects to publish the HY 2019 Accounts no later than Friday 3 April 2020.
