Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: SMS.L) ("SMS"), advises that Kelly Olsen has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 17 October 2018, in order to allow her to concentrate on a new external, full-time position.

Willie MacDiarmid, Chairman of SMS, commented: "The Board wishes to thank Kelly for her dedication and contribution to the Company during her short time with SMS, and wishes her well in her future endeavours".
