The Board of Coms plc (AIM: COMS) is pleased to announce that Sue Alexander has been appointed to the Board as Finance Director and the appointment of Diana Dyer Bartlett and Graham Herring to the Board as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.
Sue Alexander joined Coms in May 2013 as finance director, having been involved in finance roles for telecoms business for some 14 years. Sue has previously worked with Dave Breith at O-bit Telecom Limited.
Diana Dyer Bartlett is a Chartered Accountant who has held senior finance roles in industry and the City for almost 20 years. In 2000 Diana was appointed company secretary at Collins Stewart Holdings PLC (renamed Collins Stewart Tullett PLC) and then as Finance Director of Collins Stewart PLC in 2006, overseeing its demerger from Collins Stewart PLC and the concurrent acquisition of Hawkpoint. During the last six years she has worked as a CFO and as a company secretary in the technology sector. Currently, Diana is Company Secretary at Tullett Prebon PLC.
Graham Herring has worked in financial communications for over 15 years, including with large international agencies Ludgate Communications Ltd and Weber Shandwick UK. Graham founded Threadneedle Communications in 2004 and sold a majority stake to AIM listed Porta Communications PLC in 2011, renamed Newgate Threadneedle. He grew this company into the leading financial communications agency advising AIM listed companies, with a specialism in technology businesses.
The Company has today granted each of Mrs Dyer Bartlett and Mr Herring 2 million warrants to subscribe for new ordinary shares, with an exercise price of 5 pence each. In each case, 1 million warrants are capable of exercise in 12 months and the remaining 1 million warrants in 24 months.
