ADMISSION OF NEW SHARES
Advanced Smartcard Technologies plc, (SMRT) the Scottish based software group specialising in smartcard technology,
announces that it has issued 5,701,754 new shares in the Company. These shares were issued in settlement of professional
fees and were purchased for cash at the nominal value of the shares. An application has been made for these shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM from Wednesday 29 March 2006.
