Coms Platform Upgrade Gives Access to New Markets

Coms plc announces that an upgrade to its VoIP platform and Internet Telephony Network includes significant new features that enable the company to address new markets.  In response to customer demand, the platform now includes call recording functionality that meets the FSA requirements. This will allow Coms to seek new business from financial service companies.

The company has also increased the functionality of its SIP trunking proposition and made it fully compatible with Microsoft Lync. Microsoft Lync was launched last month and enables Microsoft Exchange Server to be connected to VoIP networks and services. Microsoft estimates that within five years a third of Microsoft Exchange deployments will have Lync and be VoIP enabled.
