Directors' Shareholdings
We hereby notify you that on 8 January 2007, Tony Thorne, a Director of DS Smith
Plc exercised his option under the Company's Restricted Share Plan Scheme and
acquired 71,774 ordinary shares of the Company at a total exercise price of
100p.
At the same time Mr Thorne sold 29,489 of the acquired shares at a price of
203p per share in order to pay the income tax, NIC, and dealing expenses due on
the exercise.
Mr Thorne holds a total of 251,169 shares of the Company, being 0.064% of the
issued share capital following this notification.
We also notify you that on the same date, Gavin Morris, a Director of DS Smith
Plc exercised his option under the Company's Restricted Share Plan Scheme and
acquired 28,219 ordinary shares of the Company at a total exercise price of
100p.
At the same time Mr Morris sold 11,595 of the acquired shares at a price of
203p per share in order to pay the income tax, NIC, and dealing expenses due on
the exercise.
Mr Morris holds a total of 29,322 shares of the Company, being 0.007% of the
issued share capital following this notification.
