DS Smith Plc to appoint Steve Dryden as Group Finance Director
DS Smith Plc, the international packaging manufacturer and office products
wholesaler, announces the appointment of Steve Dryden as Group Finance Director.
A further announcement will be made in due course to confirm the date on which
he will take up this role.
Steve, aged 39, has held the position of Finance Director of Filtrona plc since
its demerger from Bunzl plc in 2005. Prior to that, he was divisional Finance
Director of the Filtrona businesses and held other senior finance positions
within Bunzl plc. Steve began his career at Price Waterhouse and has also held
various finance roles within Rolls-Royce plc.
Tony Thorne, Group Chief Executive of DS Smith, said:
'I am delighted that Steve will be joining us as Group Finance Director. His
financial capability combined with his operational experience will be valuable
to us in continuing the progress of the Group.'
Steve Dryden said:
