DS Smith Plc - Dividend declaration

As referred to in the half year results statement for the six months ended 31 October 2011 released yesterday, the Directors have declared that an interim dividend of 2.8p per ordinary share will be paid on 23 January 2012 to ordinary shareholders of the Company registered at the close of business on 23 December 2011.
