SMITH & NEPHEW PRE-CLOSE BRIEFING DATE
Smith & Nephew, the global medical devices company, will be holding its normal
briefing of financial analysts to provide an update ahead of the close period
preceding the Interim Results announcement on 31 July 2003.
This briefing will be by conference call on Friday 20 June 2003 at 3.00pm UK
time/10.00am Eastern Standard Time, and can be heard by live audio webcast via
