Smith & Nephew Pre-close Briefing Date
Smith & Nephew, the global advanced medical devices company, will be holding its
normal briefing of financial analysts to provide an update on trading ahead of
the close period preceding the Interim Results announcement on 1 August 2002.
This briefing will be by conference call on Monday 24 June 2002 at 3.00pm UK
time/10.00am Eastern Standard Time, and can be heard by live audio webcast via
