Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange Plc and the UK Listing
Authority for a total of 284,490 Ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List. It is expected that permission to admit the new
shares will be granted on Wednesday, 17 January 2001 and that delaings will
commence Thursday, 18 January 2001.

These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued as a
result of the exercise of share options pursuant to the following scheme:

When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary
shares.
