SMITHS GROUP PLC (the 'Company')

DTR 6.4 - DISCLOSURE OF HOME STATE

Following changes made to the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules ('DTR') as a result of the Transparency Directive Amending Directive (2013/50/EU), the Company is required to disclose its Home State.

Accordingly, the Company confirms that its Home State is the United Kingdom.

This notification is made in accordance with the requirements of DTR 6.4.2 R.
