Smithson Investment Trust plc announces that on 22 March 2023, it purchased for holding in treasury 200,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 1,331.7228 pence per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 7,800,000 ordinary shares held in treasury and 169,307,958 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 177,107,958.
