Change to Board of Directors

The Directors of The Siam Investment Fund wish to announce that due to his
retirement from Siam City Bank Public Co., Ltd, Dr. Vanchai Ariyabuddhiphongs
has tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors of the Fund effective
August 1, 2000.  The board expects to designate his replacement prior to their
next board meeting.
