Board Changes

6 December 2019: Smurfit Kappa Group plc ("SKG" or the "Group"), one of the world's largest manufacturers of paper-based packaging products, with operations in Europe and the Americas announces a number of changes to its Board of Directors.
As part of the ongoing Board refreshment process, having served on the Board since 2012, Christel Bories, non-executive Director, has retired from the Board, effective from 5 December 2019.
In addition, Roberto Newell who has served as a non-executive Director since 2011 and as Senior Independent Director since 2017, has retired from the Board, effective from 5 December 2019.
Mr Gonzalo Restrepo has been appointed as the Group's Senior Independent Director, effective from 6 December 2019.
