SCREEN TECHNOLOGY GROUP PLC
(the 'Company' or "Screen Technology")
ITrans screens installed in Virgin Megastores
Screen Technology Group plc, the designer and manufacturer of revolutionary
high-resolution large-screen displays for high ambient light environments, today
announces an agreement to supply its ITrans screen displays initially to 16
Virgin Megastores in the UK.
Under the terms of a contract with Digital Screen Networks ("DSN"), 16 ITrans
digital displays, will be provided for use as a window-based in-store
advertising tool in Virgin Megastores in the UK. Two displays have already been
installed and are operating in Virgin's flagship stores in Piccadilly Circus and
Birmingham New Street. A third is being installed in Virgin's Manchester
Arndale Centre Megastore in time for the Centre's official re-opening in
November. The remaining 13 units will be shipped to DSN by the end of the year
in time for installation to commence in Megastores around the country early in
the New Year.
The 63 inch screens will promote brands, films and products to the considerable
footfall alongside the Virgin Megastores. Advertising on the screens is being
handled by Digital Screen Networks which has a five year agreement with Virgin
to promote advertising content and which works closely with Virgin's branding
agency, Sequoia. Microsoft X Box, Sony Pictures and EMI are already using the
new screens for their advertising content.
ITrans, the unique new technology behind Screen Technology's displays, delivers
high-resolution, high-quality images, visible from short and long distances in
daylight. Screen Technology has recently commenced commercial production of
ITrans displays and, with its first high speed production machine currently
being commissioned, it will soon be able to accept a greater number of orders
similar to this.
Current Trading
The pipeline of sales opportunities for ITrans continues to build. In addition,
the company is in advanced discussions with a number of OEM's and is looking
forward to making a further announcement shortly. The timing of these agreements
is not certain but the Board expects revenue for the period ending 31 December
2006 will be in the range £800,000 - £1,250,000. The Board is also expecting
substantial growth in 2007.
Tom Jarman, Chief Executive of Screen Technology, commented: "We are delighted
to be supplying our displays to such a high profile brand as Virgin, which will
put our innovative screens in front of millions of people across the UK. The
roll-out programme of our screens throughout Virgin Megastores is a significant
endorsement of our market leading technology.
"Since our flotation in 2005 we have been gearing up for the mass production of
ITrans and we are now beginning to see the benefits from this period of
development. We look forward to announcing further orders as we begin the major
push forward into the commercialisation phase of the business and maximise the
benefits of our new high speed production capabilities. We look forward to
updating shareholders on further developments."

Notes to Editors
Screen Technology
Screen Technology is the designer and manufacturer of revolutionary
high-resolution large-screen displays designed for high ambient light
environments.
The high resolution and high definition of the Company's displays give a
high-quality image suitable for advertising images and video as well as public
information displays. They are visible at short viewing distances as well as
across larger venues making them particularly suitable for large retail outlets,
shopping malls, control rooms and transport concourses where customers might be
within 10m of the display, a distance at which LED display technologies become
unsuitable. The high brightness means that the displays are also easily visible
in the kind of high ambient light environments where conventional LCD or plasma
technologies become unusable.
Screen Technology's patent protected technology uses moulded optical fibre tiles
to produce seamless large displays using standard production LCD panels. The
scaleable modular technology enables screens to be built in a wide variety of
shapes and of theoretically unlimited size.
Screen Technology Group plc listed on AIM, a market operated by the London Stock
Exchange, on 1 August 2005.
