('The Company')
Director resignation
The Company advises that Mr David Jelley has resigned (for personal reasons) as
a Director and Operations Manager of Solomon Gold plc.
Since operations were re-commenced in Solomon Islands in October 2005, Mr Jelley
has been instrumental in establishing what is now the largest exploration
operation in Solomon Islands. A highly experienced senior management team has
been in place for some time covering all aspects of the Company's exploration
activities, and this team will continue to manage these activities.
The Company's exploration, logistics, local liaison and administration functions
are all being managed in accordance with the established practices for Solomon
Gold field operations and have been adjusted to deal with the departure of the
Operations Manager.
The directors wish to express their thanks to Mr Jelley for his efforts in
establishing the operations in Solomon Islands and wish him well in his future
endeavours.
