ISSUE OF SHARES

Further to the placement announced on 19 November 2008, Solomon Gold Plc (AIM: SOLG) today issued 11,666,667 shares at 3p per share for gross proceeds of £350,000.  

The Company now has on issue 55,991,668 fully paid ordinary shares.
