SOLOMON GOLD PLC

ISSUE OF SHARES

Further to its announcement on 5 March 2009, Solomon Gold Plc (AIM: SOLG) today issued 2,000,000 shares to D'Aguilar Gold Ltd as part consideration for cancellation of a royalty agreement.  

The Company now has on issue 65,291,504 fully paid ordinary shares.
