Directorate Changes
Solid State plc (AIM:SSP), the AIM listed supplier of battery power solutions, specialist electronic components and industrial/ruggedised computers to the electronics market, announces that it has made the following changes to its Board of Directors. Peter Haining, the current non-executive Chairman, is to become executive Finance Director. Gordon Comben, currently a non-executive director will become non-executive Chairman and William Marsh, currently an executive director will become a non-executive director. The changes will take place with immediate effect.
Commenting on the changes to the Board Gary Marsh, Chief Executive, said "I am delighted to welcome Gordon and Peter to their new roles. Gordon's experience of the business will allow him to move seamlessly into the role of Chairman, while Peter, with his knowledge of the business and his experience as a chartered accountant, will significantly enhance the Group's finance function, providing it with the capability to support further growth within the Group".
