Songa Venus achieved an operating efficiency of 100% during the month. The rig continues to operate for Petronas Carigali in Malaysia. The rig underwent and completed its scheduled Intermediate Survey Inspection (UWILD) program in Labuan, Malaysia, during the month, before returning back into operation.
Songa Mercur completed its transit to Trinidad during the month and is currently undergoing contractual preparations work for startup of its previously announced contract with Zarubezhneft in Cuba.
Songa Dee achieved an operating efficiency of 98% during the month continuing working for Statoil on the Gullfaks field.
Songa Delta continued its Operator sponsored upgrade and life enhancement yard stay at CCB during the month. Completion of the project is currently estimated to second half of October due to unforeseen under deck steel replacement work and subsequent partly delays of original work scopes. Steel replacement work is estimated completed by the end of September and remaining original work scopes will continue thereafter. The rig will then enter into its 4+1 year contract with Statoil under direct Songa Offshore Management.
Songa Trym achieved an operating efficiency of 100% during the period operating for Statoil at the Troll field. The rig arrived CCB yard outside Bergen August 19 for a scheduled SPS (Special Periodic Survey) and Operator sponsored rig upgrade & life enhancement program at an agreed special day rate for the original scheduled work scopes. The upgrade part of project has also been expanded on request by Operator at continued special day rate and is estimated completed during first half of November. The rig will then enter into its 3+2 year contract with Statoil under direct Songa Offshore Management.
Songa Eclipse achieved an operating efficiency of 90% during the month continuing its contract with Total E&P Angola.
