Songa Offshore SE : November 2014 fleet update

Songa Delta achieved an operational efficiency of 100% and an earnings efficiency of 99% working for Statoil in Norway.

Songa Trym achieved an operational efficiency of 100% and an earnings efficiency of 99% for the operational part of the month working for Statoil in Norway. The rig was suspended 20 November as it was ahead of the planned schedule for its scope of work, and the rig is on a 75% suspension rate. Songa Trym is currently suspended until 1 February 2015, but the extension period may be reduced, or avoided, if acceleration of activities is achieved by the client Statoil.

Songa Dee completed its SPS (Special Periodic Survey) in Invergordon Scotland and left the yard 16 November. The rig has since then finalized the repair and installation of one of the main engines and has performed incline- and verification testing. The rig is currently located at the coast of Norway and it is awaiting improved weather conditions to move to the drilling location at the Gullfaks field to continue its work under the Statoil contract.
