This notice is issued in accordance with the transitional provisions of Chapter
5 of the UK Financial Services  Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules
which requires fresh notification and publication of the interests  Company's
major shareholders, defined as those holding 3 per cent or more of the Company's
issued voting share capital.

B K Mence, a Director of the Company, is interested in 14,423,847 ordinary
shares in the capital of the Company,  representing approximately 10.8 per cent
of the Company's issued voting share capital.

Norman Nominees Limited, a substantial shareholder of the Company, is interested
in 9,691,260 ordinary shares in the  capital of the Company, representing
approximately 7.3 per cent of the Company's issued voting share capital.
