ERP AND COLLABORATION SOFTWARE EXECUTIVE JOINS SOPHEON BOARD
Sopheon plc ('Sopheon') announced today that Dan Metzger has been appointed to
its board as a non-executive director. Until the end of 1998 Mr. Metzger was an
executive vice president of Lawson Software, a leading ERP provider, where he
was responsible for all elements of corporate strategy and marketing and played
a pivotal role in driving dramatic revenue growth to over $200 million. He has
since held similar roles at Parametric Technologies where he led the business
strategy and marketing around collaborative product development technologies,
and nQuire Software which was later sold to Siebel. Mr Metzger, aged 48 years,
is a citizen of the USA and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Sopheon can confirm that no further disclosures are required in respect of Mr
Metzger under paragraph (f) Schedule Two of the AIM rules.
Sopheon further announces that Joseph Shuster, a non-executive director and the
founder of the former Teltech Resource Network Corporation, is retiring from the
board.
