              PALL CORPORATION SELECTS SOPHEON'S ACCOLADE SOFTWARE



 Leader in Filtration, Separations and Purification Industry Reports Sopheon's
                Solution Key to Meeting Five-Year Business Goals





Sopheon plc ('Sopheon' LSE : SPE), an international provider of software and
services, announced today that Pall Corporation (NYSE: PLL) is implementing
Sopheon's Accolade product development software system as an integral part of
its five-year business plan.  Pall, the world's pre-eminent filtration,
separation and purification products supplier, is planning a global deployment
that will initially involve 400 users in research and development, manufacturing
and marketing. The company said that it expects to see a return on its Accolade
investment in less than a year.



Pall will use Accolade to track, evaluate and prioritize hundreds of projects
based on key performance metrics so that resources are directed to projects with
the strongest revenue and profit potential while weaker concepts are eliminated
before major costs are incurred.
