TRADING UPDATE

BOARD CHANGE

Sopheon plc, the international provider of software and services for complete Enterprise Innovation Performance solutions, is pleased to announce a trading update for the Group's performance in 2015.

In our interim report issued in August 2015, we highlighted a positive shift in the momentum of the business and we are pleased to report that this translated into strong performance for the second half of the year. As a consequence, we expect that reported revenues for the year ended 31 December 2015 will be comfortably in line with current market expectations, and that EBITDA and pre-tax profits will exceed current market expectations.

Financial expectations noted above are subject to the completion of year-end financial close and audit processes. Sopheon intends to issue its results for the year ended 31 December 2015 on 17 March 2016.

Finally and with much sadness, we also announce that Dr. Bernard Al, a non-executive director, passed away over the holiday period. Bernard served on the Sopheon board from 2001, and made an important contribution to guiding the Company's development during that time. He will be greatly missed, and the board offers its sincerest condolences to his family.
