UPDATE
Sopheon ('Sopheon'; stock code : SPE) announces that the group is in discussions
that could lead to the disposal of its North American Information Management
division, as part of steps being taken to improve the balance sheet position. If
concluded, this transaction would also sharpen management focus on the group's
software business and Accolade in particular. Further details, together with
the preliminary results for 2002 and the first quarter 2003 update will be
provided to shareholders in due course.
