Significant shareholdings

The Company received notification on 20 December 2006 that as at 18 December
2006, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited was interested in 55,927,636
ordinary shares in the Company; this represents approximately 8.08% of the
issued share capital of the Company.

The Company also received notification on 20 December 2006 that as at 20
December 2006, Meridian Natural Resources Fund was interested in
48,010,000 ordinary shares in the Company; this represents approximately 6.93%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
