Sound Oil announces that the circular describing the proposed share consolidation announced on 12 December 2012 including the notice of general meeting is being posted to shareholders today and will shortly be available for viewing on the Company's website www.soundoil.co.uk.

The general meeting of the Company will be held at the offices of Buchanan Communications, 107 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DN at 11:00am on Friday 4 January 2013.
