SAYE Share Option Scheme
SpaceandPeople (AIM:SAL) the retail, promotional and brand experience specialist, is pleased to announces employee and director participation in a Save As You Earn (SAYE) share option scheme. The scheme was established in order to offer the employees at SpaceandPeople the opportunity to participate in the future growth of the Company.
Eligible employees were invited to subscribe for share options at 46.0p, a 20% discount on the closing price of the Company's shares on 2 April 2015, the day before the invitation to participate was made. The scheme rules follow HMRC guidance and limit each employee to a maximum saving of £500 per month over the three year period of the scheme.
A total of 23 employees (28% of those eligible) elected to participate giving rise to the grant yesterday of a total of 273,515 share options. This equates to 1.40% of the current issued share capital.
The following Executive Directors elected to participate in the scheme and are included in the total figures above as follows:
Matthew Bending (CEO) has been granted 39,130 share options, Nancy Cullen (COO) has been granted 39,130 share options and Gregor Dunlay (CFO) has been granted 39,130 share options. Non-Executive Directors were not eligible to participate.
