Spectra Systems Receives Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office

Spectra Systems Corporation, a leader in machine-readable high speed banknote authentication and brand authentication technology, today announces that it has received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its patents on the use of supercritical fluids for cleaning and decontaminating banknotes in circulation. The notice of allowance states that a United States patent will issue shortly, protecting the Company's technology in the USA.  This key intellectual property protection covers the methods and processes Spectra Systems has developed over the past year and which is currently being tested with certain central banks.  Additional related patents are pending relating to other uses of the system including the reversal of limpness and specific embodiments of equipment for using the technology called Aeris^TM.
