FAIREY GROUP - BOARD CHANGES
Fairey Group announces that, after the Annual General Meeting in May 2001, Sir
Robin Biggam (62), who joined the Board in 1995 prior to becoming
non-executive Chairman in 1996, will retire and will be succeeded by John
Poulter (58), the Chief Executive.
Hans Nilsson (45), who joined Fairey in 1997 and was appointed Chief Operating
Officer in 1999, will become Chief Executive. Prior to joining Fairey, he was
European Managing Director of Flextronics International with previous
appointments at Hewlett Packard, Mars Electronics and ABB. He is an electronic
engineering graduate with an MBA from Stanford.
Fairey develops and markets specialist technology-based instrumentation and
electronic controls from locations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. Growth
is derived from product applications focused on a wide range of industrial
productivity and performance enhancement opportunities.
