Fairey Group plc announces that it will hold a Board Meeting on Monday 13
September 1999 to approve for publication its announcement of interim results
and recommended interim dividend for the half year ending 3 July 1999.

Please note that the ex-dividend will be 11 October 1999 and record date will
be 15 October 1999, with the interim dividend payable on 12 November 1999.
