Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

Fairey Group Plc ('the Company') has been informed today that on 16th May 2000
John William Poulter sold 20,372 new Ordinary Shares (nil paid) of the Company
and his wife, Mrs Margaret Winifred Poulter sold 20,407 new Ordinary Shares
(nil paid) of the Company.  The consideration for the transaction was 37p per
share.  The Director and his wife retain 11,231 new Ordinary Shares (nil paid)
in the Company.
