The Company was notified on 19 August 2002 that Mr Neil O'Brien, Finance
Director of the Company, purchased 6,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a
price of 314p per share on 19 August 2002.  As a result of this transaction, Mr
O'Brien has a beneficial interest in 17,600 ordinary shares in the Company
representing 0.04 per cent of the issued share capital of that class.
