SPIRAX-SARCO ENGINEERING PLC
Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc announces that it has acquired 80% of the issued
share capital of Eirdata Environmental Services Limited, a specialist provider
of utility audit and maintenance services for the pharmaceutical industry based
in the Republic of Ireland.
Steam is an important heat source for the pharmaceutical industry and Eirdata's
business therefore is complementary to the steam system maintenance side of
Spirax Sarco's steam specialty business.
Total consideration, which is being satisfied from existing cash resources, is
€1.1 million, increasing to a maximum of €1.6 million subject to future
performance.
