SPIRAX-SARCO ENGINEERING PLC
BOARD APPOINTMENT AND RETIREMENT
Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, which provides knowledge, service and products,
including peristaltic pumps, worldwide for the control and efficient use of
steam and other industrial fluids, announces, with effect from 1st June, the
retirement as executive director of Mr. P. Michael Smith and the appointment as
an executive director of Mr. Neil Daws.
Tim Fortune, Chairman of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, said 'we would like to
thank Michael Smith for his splendid contribution to the growth and improvement
of our business during his 17 years at Spirax. We are pleased to welcome Neil
Daws to the Board as Director-Supply, he is currently a Product Director in
Spirax-Sarco Limited and his engineering knowledge and insight will be
invaluable'.
There are no details to be disclosed in connection with Rule 16.4 of the Listing
Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
