BOARD CHANGES AT SPIRAX-SARCO ENGINEERING PLC

The Board of Directors of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc ("the Company") announces the following changes in roles and responsibilities.

Neil Daws, currently Executive Director with responsibility for Asia Pacific and Latin America, will assume responsibility for the Company's steam specialties Supply operations in the UK and France and for the Group's health, safety and environmental matters, and will relinquish responsibility for Latin America. 

Michael Gibbin, Executive Director for Supply and North America, has resigned from the Board and will be leaving the Company to pursue other interests.  The Board thanks Mike for his hard work and contributions made over the last several years.

Similar to the Group's EMEA segment, the Americas steam specialties business operations will also report to the Chief Executive.
