22 July 2008
Spice plc ('Spice' or the 'Company')
Admission of the Company's ordinary shares to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities
Spice, the provider of Total Utility Support Services, has today published its prospectus in connection with the proposed listing of its ordinary shares on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities ('Admission').
It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings on the London Stock Exchange's main market will commence at 8.00 a.m. on Friday 25 July 2008. Trading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will be simultaneously cancelled.
As previously announced, the Board believes that the Group has now reached a size where the admission of its shares to the Official List should provide increased liquidity in Spice's shares and a higher profile amongst investors which will widen its appeal and enable further growth opportunities.
The listing will not raise new money for the Company and does not affect the holdings of existing shareholders of the Company. The Company's RIC code and ISIN will continue to be, respectively, SPI and GB00B01YR877. On Admission, there will be 60,008,074 ordinary shares in issue.
The prospectus is available for inspection on the Company's website at http://www.spiceplc.com/ The prospectus has also been submitted to the UKLA and will shortly be available for inspection at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:

NOTES TO EDITORS
Spice plc
Spice is a total utility infrastructure support services business. The Group's operations were founded in 1996 and have their origins in the electricity industry, though the range of activities has since been expanded into the water sector, niche telecommunications services, statutory gas inspections, energy management and facilities management. Spice's businesses have a common theme of delivering and co-ordinating infrastructure services to customers, and the technological element within the product mix has been built up significantly over the course of the last three years.
