London, UK - 2 March 2016: Spirent Communications plc ("the Company") (LSE: SPT), a leading communications technology company, would like to notify the market in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R of the following changes in the interests of a Director / Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility:
The Company was notified on 2 March 2016 that on Tuesday 2 March 2016, Rachel Whiting, Chief Financial Officer had purchased 5,759 Ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 86.8130 pence per Ordinary share.
After this transaction, Mrs Whiting's beneficial interest in the Company is 93,048 Ordinary shares (0.015% of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital at the date of this announcement) and she holds 345,747 share incentive awards.
